Coach Karen Macaluso, Pueblo County High's girls softball coach believed that doing some trusting exercise would build trust for one another and that would correspond to the field. The team bonding exercise was held at CSU-P for the low ropes course.
Some of the girls who went through the course, Abby Padilla, sophomore first baseman said, "I think the ropes course was good for team bonding cause it helped us to work as a team. Communication is a big factor when playing softball which is something we learned during ropes corse."
Overall the day was spent with many challenges and obstacle the girls were forced to over come. The team spent over on hour and a half at CSU-P's ropes course building relationships with trust. Trust and communication were necessary to pass the obstacles in front of each and every team player. The individual is only one of a team. The team is what wins the game. The individual needs the team and the team needs the individual. Ropes course guide,--------, reminded them that, "They are all independent individuals working for one goal."
