Hidden Smile

By Writer of the Shadows
She walks alone
Down the halls
No one knows
Or notices
Her sad smile.

She hides in the shadows
When thrown into the light
Her fast pace life slows

She clams up
She’s never been noticed like this
For the first time
She doesn’t know what to do.

People like her
Don’t do what they do for attention.
They do what they do because they can’t help it. It is literally impossible for them to be mean.
