Patience Castro is an active and dedicated freshman at Pueblo County High School. She is involved in student government and hopes to join the basketball team.

“The only school activity I'm involved in is student government, and I like it so far. It's a very nice experience I’d say, but if there was another school activity I could join, it would be basketball,” Castro shared.

Castro is athletic and enjoys playing sports such as basketball, volleyball and football.
As a freshman, Castro is still finding her way around school and her classes. Her easiest class would be Costume and Tethering, and the most difficult class is her Algebra class.

“The most difficult class I have has to be Accel Algebra 1 since there are a few topics I'm unfamiliar with, and my easiest class would be Costume and Tethering since I enjoy designing the costumes,” Castro said.

Her goals for this year include completing her volunteer work, achieving good grades, and participating in as many clubs as she can.
“My goals for this year are to get my volunteer hours done, get good grades, and possibly join as many clubs as possible,” Castro shared.

Castro is a hardworking and talented student who fully dedicates herself to her set goals. She is an outstanding individual with a bright future ahead.
