When you show up to a Pueblo County game and notice the big group of students cheering and showing their spirit, that would be the cheerful Pueblo County Rowdies. The Rowdies are made up of a large group of students who are willing to cheer on their teams.

“When running the Rowdies, we have to decide themes for each game, update the social media, stay involved with events happening at the school, and try to make sure all of the County Rowdies are having fun and cheering each other on!’’ said senior Capreese Lisac.

When taking part in being in the Rowdies, you can really be a part of what some would call the highschool experience.

There are a total of six seniors that help run the Rowdies, Caprese Lisac, Lucy Vargas, Patrick Noga, Cohen Glenn, Jaelyn Faris, and Isabella Vetta, “People should make an effort to be a part of the County Rowdies because it’s a fun experience. Everyone should get the chance to dress up in fun silly outfits, hang out in the Rowdy section at a football or volleyball game, and have fun being ROWDY with their friends!” stated Lisac.

The Rowdies Team post game themes, game times, updates, and school events all on their social media page.
“I think people should make an effort to be a part of the Rowdies simply because it’s just so fun. You’re only in highschool for a short time and it goes so fast. The Rowdies is just the best experience and I might be biased but I think County does it BEST!” claims Senior Isabella (Bella) Vetta.

All the seniors that run the Pueblo County Rowdies also consider themselves to be a part of the Rowdies and not just a leader. They participate in all the activities and make sure everyone is staying rowdy and supporting their team.

“No matter who you are, if you’ve been in the Rowdy section at any event, you’ve gotten the true County Rowdy experience” Lisac commented.
