Sting On The Court

The Pueblo County High School Volleyball team is constantly reaching success. Both Junior Varsity and Varsity have been successful over the years. They have a super positive team, and always motivate each other.  

Junior Varsity coach, Steve Contreras states, “What makes my team unique is they really do love the game as much as I do and want to win. I demand a lot from them and they seem like they never want to disappoint me. A lot of girls play a sport just to play it. My girls play the sport because they love it and want to become a better player.”

Junior Varsity has been led to success by Contreras for three years. 

Floating player, Freshman Isabella Contreras said, “The environment and self improvement in doing something I really love keeps me motivated. The competition and just being able to take part in amazing teams with amazing people really keeps me going and motivates me more and more each day I play.”
