Unified Bowling

10/7/2025

Unified Bowling competes every Thursday and continues for eight weeks. Their first match is scheduled for Sept. 25, and they're heading into it with no prior practice. The Pueblo County High School Unified Bowling team has two seniors, one junior, three sophomores and four freshmen.

“I feel we will be right there knocking at the door to qualify for state this year. We've come close in the past and this year is our year,” said Teacher and Coach, Ms. Karen Macaluso.

All Unified Bowling events are held at Big Daddy's Bowl, located on the south side. The starting time of every competition will be at 4:30 pm each week. The teams bowl five games throughout the season. The team is just starting out, and they are determined to show that they are here to sting and strike.

“I want to get better at hitting strikes and picking up spares,” said Cody Dallaguardia.

The PCHS Unified Bowling team is ready to tear up the lanes and show everyone they’re here to win, while having fun. Their determination is as deadly as their strikes, but the team’s spirit their most powerful skill of all.
