Annual Walk on Water

12/4/2018

Student crowd into Pueblo County's swim room to watch fellow County students take on the feet of walking on water:
“Keep those shoes moving and be sure to control them. Watch it! You’re letting them get too far apart.”

For the third year, Musso, the dean of students at the School of Engineering and Biomedical Sciences at Pueblo County High School, was overseeing the Walk on Water challenge: a multi-heat competition in which first- and second-year engineering students are paired with senior mentors and tasked with performing a minor miracle, of walking on water.

You gotta have a little athletic ability, man” says Pueblo County Principal Brian Dilka to a young student preparing to begin his walk . “It’s not all about the flotation. So I hope you got it in your genes.”

Many students didn't make it far, and some made it too the finish. But all in all it was a ton of fun and a fascinating experience
