Hall of Fame

3/28/2019

Five Hall of Fame members' inductions took place at Pueblo County High School. Students were greeted by County's rock band's remarkable performance of "Pour Some Sugar on Me" when walking into the gym. A couple songs later, the Hall of Fame assembly begun. To begin the ceremony, Loretta Martinez our first inductee was introduced by Lucinda Lazo and followed by a slideshow of before and after her high school experience at Pueblo County and a speech.  The rest of the inductees such as Del Olivas, Adolph Padula and Jerry Sweet followed Loretta with their own slideshows and their inspirational speeches. The dance and cheer team wowed the crowd by a conjoined performance. The crowd cheered as the newfound members of the Hall of Fame received their awards given to them by participants of the Alumni. To conclude the ceremony, Mr. Dilka hopped on the mic one last time and thanked all of the inductees for choosing County.
