Healing Medicine for a Better World
By: Aubrey Mangram
The school year has reached its end and the senior class of 2022 in the biomedical innovations class presented their final projects. These projects propose solutions to real medical problems or something to help improve the medical world. Emma Brown, senior, said, “I hope that my project could help those who really need it, allowing more people to receive the healthcare they need.”
They had a variety of innovations with each person or team tackling a different problem possibly found in the medical world. Brown’s project was a rehab clinic called Rehabnow and said, “During my time in step and phlebotomy clinicals, I noticed a huge disparity in accessibility to complete rehab for injuries and conditions. I hoped to create something to help those who needed it.”
