Homecoming is back! After all the craziness of COVID-19 for the past two years, Pueblo County High School finally has a homecoming court. The theme is “Once Upon A Time”. As you walk the hallways students can see all the cute little decorations thanks to PCHS’s Student Council. PCHS’s seniors have voted. On homecoming court we have Joy Lopez, Grace Andrews, Brooke Musso, Kalea Fetrow, Bryana Lark, and Isabella Paul all in the fight for the crown.

When asked their reaction to the nominations, the girls answered similarly.  Senior, Brooke Musso, says “My reaction to being told that I was on homecoming court was exciting. I wasn't really thinking about it much, but once my name got called, I realized what it was for and got excited to do these fun activities.” Senior Kalea Fetrow says, “When I found out I was going to get the honor of being on the Homecoming Court I was overwhelmed with gratefulness. As I heard my name, I also was so extremely happy to hear the other girls on court, because they are just the sweetest girls and absolutely deserve it!”

The nomination was not the final vote that will go through for these girls, though. Students at PCHS will vote on the queen soon! The homecoming queen will be announced at County’s football game this Friday at half time. Make sure to be there. Best of luck to all the nominees.
