SnoBall

1/21/2019

Starting off SnoBall week right with a traditional County assembly.
As students entered the gym and filed into there class seating, they got a chance to gaze at the wonderful gym decorations surrounding the large sparkling arch centered in the middle of the gym. The assembly began by the students standing for the National Anthem sang beautifully by Pueblo County's own Tanner Smith, as our color guard held our colors. Everyone than took there seats as the lights dimmed and a video appeared on the projection screen at the front of the gym. At this time the SnoBall court began walking down the rolled out carpet for the guys and their family to walk down. Than pausing under the arch, the crowd stands to there feet in applause as they make their way down the carpet. We began with Joseph Berrios followed by Cayden Camper, Max Hillebrand, Taylen Jones, Lane Sherwood, Jaedon Vargas: all of them escorted by family (mom and dad). As the court nominees took their seat, the crowd was entertained (by some well put together) lip syncing videos of the nominees. The assembly than was ended with each coach of a winter sports team saying a few words, and everyone was then dismissed to their 2nd hour class, and snoball week began.
