Speech & Debate

2/11/2020

By: Uriel Villalobos
To most people, public speaking is a huge fear. Studies even show that most people fear public speaking more than death; but to the Pueblo County Hornets on the Speech & Debate team, it’s just another day on the job. From poetry to duo pieces to even orignally written ones, these Hornets are displaying their skills up in front of their peers and fellow competitors. From Colorado Springs to La Junta, these Hornets have been putting their all into meets with members making it to Finals almost every single time! On February 22nd, the Speech & Debate team will be heading to Cañon City to compete for State Qualifiers! So make sure to wish them good luck if you pass them by in the halls.
