The mix of people walking slow, pushing others, people walking on the wrong side of the hallway and stopping in the middle makes passing period horrible. This is a daily struggle for students here at Pueblo County.
For example, Amairani Chacon recorded the time it took her to get from second lunch to Mr. Koshak’s room in the math hallway. Chacon said it took her five minutes and 14 second to get through the traffic to her class. Chacon also stated, “I don’t think I could make it to class without getting stuck behind a slow walker or being pushed.”
It is understandable that everyone wants to get to class on time, but some actions are so inconsiderate. If your walking on the right side of the hallway and your class is on the left your most definitely getting run over, people act like they can’t see you and just keep walking. It is unimaginable how stressed SEBS kids are trying to get to class on time. Most SEBS kids are late to class considering how horrible the hallways are and how long the walk is.
