Every family has different traditions for Thanksgiving. Some people don’t really celebrate, others have ten or more family members over. Some people even have two different dinners. Here’s what individuals at PCHS had to say.

“We don’t really have any traditions other than us all getting together and eating a lot of food,” said freshman, Krysta Swanson.

Sophomore, Joede Bustamante said, “I have some family over, we cook the meal together, and then we eat together. Honestly, Thanksgiving to me means family and good food.”

“We usually sit around while my mom cooks and then we eat. And at the end of the day we play board games. Thanksgiving to me means family.” Brittany Vail, a teacher at PCHS expressed.

“Every year for Thanksgiving my family comes over to our house and everyone brings different food. My mom makes the ham and my sister brings the turkey,” said sophomore Lana Cunningham.

Whether your family is large or small, everyone has some sort of traditions. Some people spend time with their family and eat food. Some have to make the food for their family. Some people ask the question, “how are my traditions different?” The better question is “how are my traditions unique?”
